Government Medical College Technician of Uttarakhand gets half salary latest news update 2023
Latest Updated 21/11/2023: Radio technicians working in government medical colleges of Uttarakhand are getting only half the salary compared to radio technicians of the health department. This situation is arising due to salary discrepancy in the medical education department.
Generally, the pay scale for permanent posts in government departments is also the same. Especially when the nature of work and the standard of educational qualification are also the same. But this is not the case with the post of Radio Technician. If a person is appointed to this post in the medical colleges of the state under the Medical Education Department, then the grade pay for him has been fixed at Rs 2800. Under which the first salary is around Rs 35 thousand. Whereas for the first appointment on the same post in the Health Department, the grade of 4600 has been fixed. Under which one gets a salary of around Rs 70 thousand. Health Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat said that this matter is not in my knowledge. He said that the issue of salary discrepancy would be resolved soon.
A young man from Tehri has recently been selected for the post of Radio Technician in Medical Education. But he is not ready to join this post due to very low salary. Told that salaries are higher than this in private hospitals. Many youth working in the health department were selected but they too are not ready to join medical education.
