Latest Updated 26/11/2023: The Education Department is still waiting for information about 30 thousand newly selected teachers from BPSC. The Education Department could not get information related to the contribution of these teachers from the districts. However, the districts have sent the report of contribution of 80 thousand teachers to the Education Department by Saturday.

Reports of teachers' contribution are yet to be received from some districts. The Education Department had asked all the districts to compulsorily send the report with the name of every new teacher and the date of contribution by the evening of 25 November. The schools had to give this subject-wise details to the district, from where the consolidated report was to come to the headquarters. The department had directed the districts to provide all the information related to all 1.10 lakh teachers by Saturday evening. Due to this, apart from the offices of the districts, the headquarters of the Education Department in Patna also remained open till late evening on Saturday.

Here, information about new teachers was being compiled since evening on the basis of reports received from the districts. The department has asked the districts to open their offices on Sunday also and send reports. On the instructions of the Education Department, now offices in these districts will remain open on Sundays.


Teachers were asked to contribute in schools till 25th November. Earlier, they were instructed to contribute in schools till 21st November and take classes from 22nd November. But after receiving information that a large number of teachers were not contributing, this period was extended till November 25.
