Dearness allowance at increased rate to university-college employees of Bihar latest news update 2023
Latest Updated 21/11/2023: Teachers and non-teaching staff of traditional universities and constituent colleges of the state will get dearness allowance at the increased rate. Along with this, they will also get the differential outstanding amount. The education department has completed its preparations. Now the department has started estimating the amount to be spent on this.
Recently, the department had decided that according to the increased rate, the outstanding amount of dearness allowance and outstanding amount of DR difference item will also be paid to the retired teachers and non-teaching employees of traditional universities and constituent colleges. In this regard, Higher Education Director Rekha Kumari has issued instructions to the registrars of all traditional universities.
Under this, the salary and non-salary items of working teachers and non-teaching and retired employees of traditional universities and affiliated colleges will be increased from 34 percent to 38 percent from July, 2022 to December, 2022 and from 34 percent to 42 percent in January, 2023 and February, 2023. This is to be paid after calculating dearness allowance and DR difference.
