VC of Chanakya Law University also in the race for AMU latest news update 2023
Latest Updated 31/10/2023: Among the five names who have been selected for the post of Vice Chancellor of Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), Prof. Faizan Mustafa, Vice Chancellor of Chanakya Law University, Patna is also included.
Five names were selected for the post of Vice Chancellor in the Executive Council meeting on Monday. These names will be placed before the AMU court on November 6. After this, three out of five names will be sent to the President. The President will select the VC by putting her seal of approval on one name. In the Executive Council meeting, elections were held to select five names out of 20. Prof. Faizan Mustafa got nine votes. Prof. Mustan is the former Vice Chancellor of NALSAR University of Law Hyderabad aka NLU. Before this he was also the founder VC of National Law University Odisha.
