Latest Updated 20/10/2023: There are a total of seven employed teachers of classes 11th and 12th in Tejendra Higher Secondary School Baruari of Supaul district. Out of these seven, six employed teachers appeared in the teacher appointment examination conducted by Bihar Public Service Commission and all have been successful. Now, these will contribute to the new school. After this, only one old teacher will be left here in class 11th and 12th.

Such cases are there in many old high and plus two schools in all the districts of the state. On the other hand, in the new appointment, most of the posts have been given in newly upgraded high schools, because earlier there were very few teachers here. In such a situation, the number of teachers in old high schools will reduce.
It is known that the number of teachers employed in secondary and higher secondary schools of the state is about 43 thousand. A large number of them have appeared in the examination conducted by the Commission. The department is getting actual information about how many employed teachers have been successful in the examination. Since the teachers have the status of government employees in the reinstatement being taken by the Commission. Besides, their salary scale is also higher than the planned one. This is the reason why employed teachers also appeared in the new appointment examination.
The Education Department had also given exemption for this in its rules. The number of secondary and higher secondary schools in the state is about nine thousand. About half of these are newly upgraded schools. Here, in the examination conducted by the Commission, 49,905 candidates across the state have been successful in new appointments in secondary and higher secondary. Their counseling has also been started. Along with counselling, these teachers are also being sent for initial training.
