Bihar School Examination Committee filed an affidavit in the High Court

It was also told that show cause notices have been released on 16 September to the professors who fixed wrong answers to the questions. Disciplinary action will be taken against them. For the first time, the examination committee also made public the names of the professors who set the question papers for the examination. On Tuesday, a single bench of Justice Anil Kumar Sinha heard the writ filed by Prakash Chandra Mishra and others. Advocate Ritika Rani, appearing for the applicants, told the court that Bihar Teacher Eligibility Test was conducted for the reinstatement of teachers in the state. The examination for Physics subject was held on 18 October 2020. In its question number 59 and general knowledge, wrong answer options were given to question numbers 9, 13, 16 and 47. He said that after the court order, the wrong answer options were handed over to the expert committee.
The answer options for Physics subject were given by Dr. Harinshu Meeran Singh, Associate Professor of the Physics Department of BD College, Patna, Dr. PK Verma, Associate Professor there, Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Pandey, Associate Professor of Magadh University and BN Mandal University, Madhepura Associate Professor. It was prepared by Dr. Buddha Priya. He said that Bihar School Examination Committee has admitted for the first time that wrong options were given in the answers to the questions. The Examination Committee will take action against these Associate Professors who gave wrong answer options. The court had asked the Bihar School Examination Board to submit the report of the expert committee. Also, by filing an affidavit, instructions were given to give information regarding the answer options for Physics subject.
Bihar School Examination Committee told the court that after getting the permission of the state government, the results of the State Teacher Eligibility Test 2019 will be published afresh after re-evaluation. Also, disciplinary action will be taken against the professors responsible for this. The matter will be heard on November 1 after Durga Puja.
