Breaking News: Reshuffle in posting of six IAS, 12 PCS by the government of UP
Latest Updated 28/10/2023: The state government transferred six IAS and 12 PCS officers late on Thursday night and Friday. Most of these officers are from Varanasi. Pulkit Garg has been transferred to the post of Vice Chairman of Varanasi Development Authority, Shipu Giri, who was Municipal Commissioner in Varanasi, has been transferred to the post of Special Secretary Higher Education and Satya Prakash has been transferred from Additional Commissioner Excise to the post of Municipal Commissioner Jhansi. Nidhi Bansal, Joint Magistrate, Jhansi, has been made the Chief Development Officer of Sitapur and Abhishek Goyal, Vice Chairman of Varanasi Development Authority, has been made the Special Secretary Food and Logistics.
PCS officer Ramshankar I OSD Lucknow Development Authority has been made City Magistrate of Aligarh. SDM Varanasi Shyam Kumar has been made SDM Gonda, SDM Bareilly Rashmi Kumari has been made SDM Moradabad, Asharam Verma has been made SDM Mirzapur, SDM Pilibhit has been made SDM Moradabad. Some other PCS officers have also been changed.
