Chairman of Jeevika Sansthan arrested in UP Scholarship Scam latest news update 2023
Latest Updated 08/10/2023: ED on Saturday arrested Ram Gopal, chairman of Jeevika Institute of Pharmacy, Hardoi, who was involved in the scholarship scam. He is also the manager of Dr. BR Ambedkar Educational Society Hardoi. ED has also obtained police custody remand of seven days.

Ram Gopal has been arrested under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act. Earlier, on 16 February, ED had raided Jeevika Institute of Pharmacy located in Atrauli, Hardoi. In this case, four people including the operators of Hygeia Group have already been arrested. Managers and principals of four institutions have been found guilty in the SIT investigation. Scam of Rs 45 crore has been confirmed.
