Decision possible today on coal workers' bonus latest news update 2023
Latest Updated 08/10/2023: A decision on the bonus of employees of Coal India and subsidiary companies is possible on Sunday. The bonus is to be considered in the meeting of Coal India management and union representatives at Coal India office on Lodhi Road, Delhi on 8 October at 11 am.
Last year, coal workers received Rs 76,500 as bonus. This time also a bonus of up to Rs 80 thousand is expected. Although the atmosphere is a bit tense regarding the wage settlement dispute, the management will try to maintain good industrial relations in the bonus talks.
