Latest Updated 19/10/2023: BPSC has released the result of teacher recruitment examination. A total of one lakh 22 thousand 324 candidates have been declared successful. 23701 candidates have been successful in Higher Secondary, 26204 in Secondary and 72419 candidates have been successful in Primary. A total of 72 percent candidates have been successful. The Commission also released the results of seven other subjects of Higher Secondary on Wednesday. This includes Political Science, Music, Entrepreneurship, Home Science, Botany, Magahi and Bhojpuri. In these seven subjects, fewer candidates have been selected than the vacant posts. Earlier on Tuesday, results of 16 subjects were declared. Late in the evening, the Commission also released the results of teachers of classes 1 to 5.

48137 posts remained vacant. The teacher recruitment examination was held for 1 lakh 70 thousand 461 posts. There were 57602 vacancies in Higher Secondary, 32916 in Secondary and 79943 vacancies. In this 48137 seats remained vacant. Commission Chairman Atul Prasad said in a press conference held in the office room on Wednesday that the result is provisional. The final result will be considered when the certificates are verified.
