Loan to Bihar ITI students also through Student Credit Card Scheme latest news update 2023
Latest Updated 13/09/2023: The way has been cleared for private ITI students to get loans under the Student Credit Card Scheme. In this regard, approval has been given to 44 private ITIs. Applications from other institutions are also being considered by the State Office of Planning.
It is known that the Education Department has made it clear that loans for ITI courses will be available to students of those private institutions which have been approved by the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) and their final grading is five or more. There is no such compulsion for government ITI. A loan of Rs 52 thousand will be given as fee for two year ITI course.

Here, applications have also been sought from private B.Ed colleges, who want to avail the benefits of this scheme for their students. Approval for the loan will be given only after the state office scrutinizes and examines the applications.
