Latest Updated 06/09/2023: B.Ed degree holders may face a shock in the ongoing teacher appointment process from BPSC. The Supreme Court said that there is no need for B.Ed degree holders in the appointment of teachers for primary schools. Only D.El.Ed degree holders are eligible for Primary. In the light of the decision given on 11 August 2023, the Supreme Court has asked the Bihar government to take a decision regarding the appointment of teachers in primary schools. However, the Supreme Court also said that Bihar government is not a party in the Supreme Court. Because of this no orders are being given. The Supreme Court said that the state government should take its action in the light of the Supreme Court's decision. Due to the order of the Supreme Court, about three lakh 90 thousand B.Ed degree holders of Bihar are deeply disappointed. In the teacher appointment process of BPSC, three lakh 90 thousand candidates have appeared for the examination for primary schools.

The case of 03 lakh 90 thousand B.Ed degree candidates stuck


Here, BPSC Secretary Ravi Bhushan said that in the light of the Supreme Court's decision, guidance will be taken from the Education Department. Only after this any further decision will be taken. Let us tell you that Commission Chairman Atul Prasad had made it clear in the press conference recently that as per the decision of the Supreme Court, the results of those with B.Ed degree will be declared finally. But according to the order given by the Supreme Court, the result of only D.El.Ed candidates will be released. The number of candidates with D.El.Ed is also three lakh 80. This includes more candidates from other states than Bihar.


Restoration on 1.70 lakh posts


Teachers are to be recruited on 1 lakh 70 thousand 461 posts in Bihar. In which there are three lakh 90 thousand candidates who are B.Ed degree holders and have given the examination. 79 thousand 943 posts of primary teachers are to be appointed from BPSC. At present, on the orders of the BPSC, the verification of the certificates of the teacher candidates has been started from 4 September, after the written examination.
