100 percent attendance is mandatory in all the government teacher training institutes of Bihar BEd DElEd latest news update 2023
Latest Updated 27/09/2023: 100 percent attendance of trainees enrolled in all government teacher training institutes (B.Ed, D.El.Ed, M.Ed) of the state has been made mandatory. Regarding this, Sajjan R, Director of Research and Training of the Education Department, has sent a letter to the principals of the institutes and directed them. It is also written that strict action will be taken against absent trainees.
The Director has clarified in his letter that earlier minimum 85 percent attendance till the end of the course session was made mandatory, without which the trainees were not allowed to fill the examination form. But, now 100 percent attendance has been made mandatory in all institutions. The attendance of these trainees will be done through biometric machine, which will also be connected to the directorate. Attendance reports will be sent by the institutions to the directorate every day by 2 pm. Besides, all the officers and employees of the institute will also mark attendance through the same biometric machine. The responsibility of ensuring the above order will be of the Principal-In-charge of the institute.
