Latest Updated 04/08/2023: Monthly evaluation will now be done in classes I to VIII in government schools of the state. This will be done in April, May, July, August, October, November, January and February. That means children will be evaluated for eight months in a year. In this, the children of class one will be assessed in oral and written form.
There will be only written evaluation from class II to VIII. In this regard, Bihar Education Project Council has issued a letter to all district education offices on Thursday. Tell that till now children have been evaluated twice a year from first to eighth. Half-yearly evaluation is done in September and annual evaluation is done in March. But now evaluation will be done eight times in a year. With this, the school will know about the learning ability of the children and accordingly further strategy will be prepared.

Monthly evaluation report has to be made available to BEP
After the monthly evaluation, the school will make its report available to the BEP every month. On the basis of this the schools will be monitored. With this, BEP will prepare a list of schools across the state as to how the children are progressing in which school.
