Dharmendra Kumar Singh arrested for cheating in home guard recruitment by Dhanbad Police team latest news update 2023
Latest Updated 22/08/2023: The Dhanbad police team nabbed Home Guard jawan Dharmendra Kumar Singh, who was convicted of duping lakhs of rupees from people in the name of reinstatement as a constable in the Home Guard. After catching Dharmendra, the police sent him to jail on Monday.
On August 19, in Dharmendra's absence, the court of Chief Judicial Magistrate Sanjay Kumar Singh had sentenced Dharmendra Singh to five years imprisonment and a total financial fine of Rs 34,000 under different sections of cheating. The court had also issued a non-bailable warrant against the absconding Dharmendra on the same day.

On February 28, 2020, Rajendra Ravidas, a laborer resident of Putki Gopinathdih, lodged an FIR against Dharmendra at Dhanbad police station. In the registered FIR, Rajendra Ravidas had alleged that in the year 2018, his son Pradeep Kumar Das had applied for home guard reinstatement. He passed the physical examination. One day at 12 o'clock on his mobile, Dharmendra said that he is the staff of Home Guard Office. Pradeep is missing by one point, if he spends then the restoration will happen.
