Coal workers will get lump sum arrears in September latest news update 2023
Latest Updated 03/08/2023: Along with the salary for the month of August, coal workers will be paid lump sum arrears of coal wage agreement in September. The arrear payment was being talked about in the first two-three instalments. Coal India has written to the CMDs of all subsidiary companies asking them to clear the arrears.
Senior Coal India official told that onroll workers will be paid along with salary. On the other hand, the workers who retire during the wage settlement-11 period will be paid later. According to the salary agreement, arrears are to be paid from July 2021 to May 2023. There has been a monthly increase of minimum nine thousand and maximum of Rs 32 thousand in the salary of the personnel. On this basis, minimum two lakh and maximum seven lakh arrears can be received.
