Asked for exemption from CUET from UGC and Center in UK Uttarakhand latest news update 2023
Latest Updated 21/08/2023: Former state spokesperson of BJP Ravindra Jugran demanded relief from the UGC, Union Education Minister and HNB Garhwal Central University from the compulsion of CUET in admission to the students.
Jugran said thousands of students from the state were unable to appear in the CUET. In such a situation, this year they have to worry for admission. So far only 40 admissions have been done in HNB and its affiliated colleges. Last year also exemption was given from CUET. In the interest of the students, the seats left out of the merit of CUET should be allowed admission to the students on the basis of merit.
