BPSC: Negative marking fixed for 69th preliminary exam
Change: There will be only four options instead of five
Latest Updated 28/08/2023: Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has changed the 69th Combined Civil Services Preliminary Examination pattern. Now, for wrongly answering three questions in the examination, one mark for the correct answer will be deducted. For the first four wrong answers, one mark was deducted for each correct answer.
- BPSC received 2 lakh 74 thousand applications for 429 seats
- Earlier, one mark for the correct answer was deducted for giving 04 wrong answers.
The BPSC has adopted the style of the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). At the same time, instead of 5, only four options will be given to answer the questions. This information has been tweeted by BPSC President Atul Prasad on Sunday. The Commission has made this change on the basis of the feedback received from the candidates. BPSC is going to conduct 69th preliminary exam on 30th September across the state. According to the commission, this time there are 429 seats for various services. About two lakh 74 thousand candidates have applied for this.

Assistant exam admit card released
Bihar Public Service Commission has also released the admit card for the BPSC Assistant Recruitment Exam. Candidates who have applied for the main examination can download the admit card by visiting the official website of the commission, bpsc.bih.nic.in. Commission Secretary Ravi Bhushan told that the main examination of BPSC Assistant Recruitment will be held on August 31 in two shifts. The first shift will be from 9.30 am to 11.45 am and the second from 2 pm to 4.15 pm. The paper of General Hindi will be held in the first shift and the test of General Knowledge will be held in the second shift. Two centers have been made for the examination. More than 600 candidates will participate in it. Through this, 44 assistants will be recruited in the commission.
Higher secondary result will be released first
The result of teacher appointment test will be released soon. First the results of Higher Secondary (11th to 12th) and then Secondary (9th to 10th) will be released. Then the result of class one to fifth will come. Atul Prasad gave this information by tweeting. He has said that the candidates should be ready for the document verification. It is going to start soon. The number of seats in higher secondary is 57616, while the applicants are 39 thousand. At the same time, the number of students appearing in the examination was even less. In such a situation, the evaluation of their OMR seat will be done soon.
