Latest Updated 02/07/2023: The education department accepted the demand of the teachers to extend the joining time on the new posting. All the teachers transferred on 26 June will now be able to join till July 10. Earlier orders were given to join by 2 July in any case.
Director of Secondary Education Seema Jaunsari confirmed the decision. He told that this year the marks improvement examination of high school and intermediate board examination is also to be held. 5 July is the last date to apply. This decision has been taken in the interest of the students. Its order has been released.
On the other hand, the secondary teachers were also demanding extension of the joining period. On 6 and 7 July, there is a session of the teachers union in Almora and provincial elections are also to be held in it.

Appeal immediately if you object to the transfer
The Education Department has taken a tough stance on the allegations of irregularities in transfers. Director of Secondary Education Seema Jaunsari has instructed the teachers that if there is an error or irregularity in someone's transfer, they should immediately appeal with proof. If there has indeed been a mistake, it must be rectified.
