7 more people found guilty in UP Scholarship Scam latest news update 2023
Latest Updated 29/07/2023: Chairman-managers and two principals of five more institutes have been found guilty in the scam of scholarship given to weaker category students under the scheme of the state and central government. Many evidences have been found against them in the statements of more than 50 students and two dozen employees. Sufficient evidence has been found against nine chairmen in the SIT report so far.

It has been confirmed in the investigation that the operators of Hyjia group have done a scam of crores with these colleges. Facts related to the evidence against both the principals are being collected. The 52-page report has been given to the head of the SIT on Friday. Soon major action can be taken in this matter. A case was filed in this regard by SSI Daya Shankar Dwivedi at Hazratganj Kotwali on March 30. In this, 18 including managers and employees of 10 institutions were nominated. As of now only Jafri brothers and employee Ravi Gupta, the director of Hyjia Group, have gone to jail. Many secrets were revealed in the interrogation of these people. From the year 2015-16 to 2022-23, the accused had taken out scholarships from these institutions in the name of fictitious students.
