Breaking news: Former Jharkhand CM Raghubar Das appointed convenor of Patna lathicharge investigation committee
Latest Updated 15/07/2023: BJP National President JP Nadda has condemned the lathicharge by the police administration on the party leaders and workers during the assembly march in Patna on 13th July. The BJP president has formed a 4-member inquiry committee to probe the complete matter. Former Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das has been made convenor of this committee. At the same time, MPs Manoj Tiwari, Vishnu Dayal Ram and Sunita Duggal have also been included in the committee.

According to the letter issued by the party's National General Secretary Arun Singh, this inquiry committee will visit Patna soon. BJP will investigate the death of worker Vijay Singh in the police lathicharge on leaders & workers. After probing the entire incident, the committee will submit the report to the BJP President. Based on the report, the party will decide further strategy.
