Due to non release of hearing merit list in the High Court, teachers are not appointed
Latest Updated 18/07/2023: In the Jharkhand High Court on Monday, a hearing was held on the petition filed in the court of Justice Dr. SN Pathak regarding the appointment of successful candidates in the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) held in the year 2016.
After the hearing, the court has directed the government to take a decision regarding the appointment of the candidates within six weeks. In this regard, a petition was filed in the High Court on behalf of Parimal Kumar and others. During the hearing, advocate Amritansh Vats told the court on behalf of the applicants that Article 21 (A) was included in the 86th amendment to the constitution. Under this, free education was made compulsory in the whole country. Under this, RTE was brought to provide free education to the children of six to 14 years.
Under this law, the State Government made the Assistant Teacher Recruitment Rules in the year 2012. In the year 2013, teachers were appointed through TET. After this, the year 2016 Tet exam was taken by Jack. But the merit list is not released. Because of this, teachers are not being appointed.
The court has ordered the government to take a decision in six weeks regarding the appointment of Tet successful candidates in the year 2016.

Hearing on constable appointment rules on 16th
On Monday, a partial hearing was held in the Jharkhand High Court on the petition challenging the Constable Recruitment Rules-2014 in the division bench of Chief Justice Sanjay Kumar Mishra and Justice Anand Sen. In this, the court was told that the matter related to this is pending hearing in the Supreme Court. After this, the next hearing was fixed for 16 August. Sunil Tudu and 60 other people have filed petitions in this regard. All are being heard together. The petition states that the appointment rules of the Jharkhand government are contrary to the police manual. Let us tell you that in 2015, an advertisement was issued for the appointment of constables and JAP jawans in the state. The recruitment process was completed in 2018. Under the earlier order, the court had given an opportunity to all the constables appointed in this case to present their side.
Hearing on the petition for the election of the speaker
A hearing was held on Monday in the court of High Court Justice Sanjay Prasad on a petition challenging the election of Jharkhand Speaker Rabindra Nath Mahto. His counsel requested to see the records from the office of the Returning Officer related to the Nala assembly elections. On his request, the court allowed him to be seen before the registrar in the presence of both the parties. The next hearing of the case will be after three weeks. Earlier, on behalf of Santosh Hembram, an application was made in the court, requesting the office of the Returning Officer to bring all the original documents related to the election to the court. The court has called for all the documents.
