Breaking News: India will buy 26 Rafale and three submarines from France
Latest Updated 11/07/2023: India is planning to buy 26 Rafale fighter jets & 3 Scorpene class submarines from France. According to government sources, the defense forces have placed the proposals before the Defense Ministry. An announcement could be made during Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to France this week.
As per the proposals, 26 Rafale M aircraft will be procured for the Indian Navy. There will be four trainer aircraft and 22 single seater aircraft. All the three submarines will be acquired under the repeat clause as part of Project 75.
