First time, Vocational students get a chance in BSEB Bihar Board Matric Exam latest news update 2023

Latest Updated 03/07/2023: For the first time, Bihar Board is also registering students taking vocational courses in class 9th apart from regular subjects. In the matriculation board examination of the year 2024 and 2025, students with vocational courses will appear.

These vocational courses include courses in security, retail, tourism, automobile and beauty and wellness. Till now Bihar Board used to take vocational course exam in 11th and 12th only. Be informed that the Bihar Education Project Council has so far started vocational courses in 81 schools of the state. About three thousand students are enrolled in it. Whose registration was done last year. These students will appear in the matriculation examination of the year 2024. And in the remaining 48 schools, the registration of the students enrolled in class IX is still being done. There are 4000 students enrolled in it. They will appear in the matriculation examination of the year 2025.

There will be a change in the program It will be the first time that in the year 2024, in addition to the core subjects, vocational courses will also be included in the matriculation examination. The board will also issue the admit card of these students.


Bihar Board will take 70 marks examination of these five vocational courses. And the practical exam of 30 marks will be taken by SSC (Sector Skill Council), Government of India. After taking the practical exam, SSC will send the marks to Bihar Board through Bihar Shiksha Pariyojana Parishad. The result will be released by the Bihar Board only.
