First selection list for UG will be released today under BBMKU latest news update 2023
Latest Updated 16/07/2023: The first selection list will be released on Sunday for enrollment in four-year undergraduate course in 36 degree colleges of Dhanbad and Bokaro under BBMKU. BBMKU has received 31,876 applications for 50% of the total undergraduate seats from the Chancellor's portal. Out of these 5661 applicants have not deposited the application fee. Enrollment of selected students will start from July 17. The degree colleges have been instructed in this regard by the University Admission Cell.
Maximum 4399 applications have been received for PK Rai and minimum 16 applications have been received for Rainbow Degree College evening incision. Let us inform that in the first phase, 50 percent of the total seats are being enrolled in degree on the basis of intermediate score.
- First selection list will be issued on the basis of intermediate score for 50% seats
CUET result was released on Saturday. Now there is a possibility of issuing notice on Monday or Tuesday for admission on the basis of CUET score on the remaining 50% seats.
Subject selection will have to be filled in two copies and submitted. Selected students will get physical verification of their educational certificates and other certificates in the respective colleges. During the verification itself, the students will have to fill and submit the subject selection in duplicate. The format of the subject selection form has already been released by the university. The subject combination list has also been released. Based on the list filled in the subject combination form, the students will be allotted subjects for studies in semester one.
Under the National Education Policy, students will get an opportunity to study multi-disciplinary subjects in the four-year undergraduate course. Multi-disciplinary subject has been determined on the basis of major and minor paper.
The second selection list will be released on July 24 for the remaining seats.

National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the result of CUET (Common University Entrance Test) UG. Thousands of students of Dhanbad have got success in CUET. A large number of students have got more than 90 percentile. On behalf of the students, applications will now be made on the basis of CUET application for enrollment in various universities of the country. Kumar Ashutosh has secured 99.90 percentile in Physics, 99.76 in Chemistry, 98.77 percentile in Biology and 96.84 percentile in English in CUET.
