Latest Updated 19/07/2023: Education Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat said that to overcome the shortage of teachers in government schools, eight thousand teachers will be recruited soon at primary and secondary level. Along with this, 2500 posts of class IV will be recruited through outsource. He said this on Tuesday in the plantation program organized at Government Girls Inter College, Rudraprayag.

During the four-day state tour program in Rudraprayag, the Education Minister said that efforts are on to improve the quality of education in the state. He planted Amla sapling in the college campus. Rawat said that the shortage of teachers in schools will be removed at any cost.
For the convenience of teachers, 'Manav Sampada' portal is being prepared at the state level. On which all the data of teachers will be available online. In order to make the students aware of the environment, the lesson of environmental protection and promotion will be included in the curriculum.
