Admission of PhD students in IIT ISM Dhanbad latest news update 2023
Latest Updated 19/07/2023: In the new session 2023-24, the enrollment of students in PhD was taken in IIT ISM. On Tuesday, the students completed the enrollment process throughout the day at the Institute's New Lecturer Hall Complex. About 200 students enrolled in 17 departments of Ph.D. The final figure will be released soon by the institute.

An Orientation cum Induction program has been organized for PhD enrolled students on 20th July at 930 am at Penman Auditorium of the Institute. In this, information about various facilities and educational activities will be given. Director Prof. Others including JK Patnaik will address.
Fourth round seat allotment JoSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority) has released the fourth round seat allotment for 23 IITs of the country including IIT ISM. The closing rank for IIT Dhanbad has gone back 190 ranks in the fourth round. A seat has been allotted to a girl student of 22939 rank in Mining Machinery Engineering. By the third round, the closing rank of IIT Dhanbad had gone up to 22,749. At the same time, the opening rank of the institute remains 1366 in Computer Science Engineering. The opening and closing ranks of many branches have remained intact in the second to third round. Seat allotment will be done for the remaining seats up to six rounds. The seat allotment list for the sixth round will be released on July 26.
