3500 posts of direct recruitment were surrendered and added to Head Constable and ASI
Latest Updated 09/07/2023: By increasing 3500 posts of Head Constable, Additional Sub Inspector i.e. ASI, the Police Department has given a blow to the unemployed. Recently the Police Department created one thousand seven hundred and fifty new posts of ASI. Whereas, 1750 posts of Head Constable were also increased. Constables and head constables were promoted to these posts. That is, a total of 35 hundred posts were created, but by surrendering 3500 posts out of 17 thousand 503 posts of direct recruitment constables. That is, only 3,500 posts of direct recruitment were converted into the posts of ASI and Head Constable. Now the total number of constable posts in the police is only 14003. That is, the way of direct recruitment on 3500 posts has ended. There is anger among the youth about this.
