147 candidates successful in Indian Forest Service Examination of UPSC latest news update 2023
Latest Updated 02/07/2023: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) on Saturday said that 147 candidates have been declared successful in the Indian Forest Service Examination 2022.
Of these, 39 candidates are from general category, 21 candidates from economically weaker sections, 54 candidates from other backward classes, 22 candidates from scheduled castes and 11 candidates from scheduled tribes. The recruitment exam was conduct to fill 150 posts of Indian Forest Service. Based on the result of the written part of the Indian Forest Service Examination, 2022, conducted by the UPSC from 20 to 27 November 2022 & the interview conduct in June this year, 147 applicants have been recommended for recruitment to the posts.
