Uttarakhand CM Dhami Says Honorarium of Block Heads (Block Pramukh) will be increased soon latest news update 2023
Latest Updated 11/06/2023: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has announced an increase in the honorarium of the block heads and has also assured to restart the head fund.
In a conversation with the block chief at Chief Minister's residence on Saturday, the chief minister said that the block chief is an important link in the three-tier panchayati system. They are also responsible for carrying forward the schemes of the govt. That's why the honorarium of block heads will be increased to be at par with that of UP. Similarly, a decision will be taken soon on restarting the development fund of the block heads by increasing it.
CM Dhami said that many public welfare schemes are being run by the central govt under the leadership of PM Narendra Modi. In the last Nine (9) years, the schemes were taken forward keeping in mind the people of each section of the society. There was a big thought behind opening Jan Dhan accounts of the poor. On this occasion, BJP's Organization General Secretary Ajey Kumar, Additional Secretary Panchayati Raj Omkar Singh, Block Pramukh Sangh President Darshan Singh Danu, Patron Govind Singh Danu and many block chiefs were present.
Model lake in every village
CM Dhami has appealed to the panchayat representatives that a model Amrit Sarovar should be built in each village, to see which tourists can visit the village. He said that the state has already made more Amrit Sarovar in this direction than the target set by the Central Government. CM said that the state is making rapid progress in every direction, the collection of GST has increased by 25%. This has happened due to the efficient management of the government, its benefits will come in the form of implementing welfare schemes in the state.
