Latest Updated 05/06/2023: Students of degree colleges of the state will get digital icards this year. Complete details of the student will be recorded in this I-card equipped with QR code. By scanning the QR code, the complete information of the student will be easily available and his record will be safe with the student as well.
Higher Education Secretary Shailesh Bagoli said, this year these cards will also be prepared along with the online admission process being done through the Samarth portal. The state's Samarth Pravesh portal has been included in the National Education Policy (NEP) in the Best Practices of Higher Education. This year, admissions are being done through online medium in universities and colleges in the state. The registration process was started on 31 May.

Till the afternoon of 4 June, more than six thousand 986 applications had been registered. The Higher Education Secretary said that while the admission process has become simple and transparent through online medium, it has also become economical. Earlier students had to spend more than one thousand rupees as registration fee for admission in different colleges. Now students can fill choices for 10 colleges of the three universities for just Rs 50.
