PhD amendment approved in AKTU Lucknow latest news update 2023
Latest Updated 04/06/2023: AKTU Lucknow has also decided to implement the National Education Policy-2020. An internal quality cell i.e.; IQAC will be formed in the Faculty of Architecture & Planning. Like Bachelor in Design in UP Institute of Design Noida, the Institute will be able to take admission at its own level on remaining seats after counseling in Master in Design. These proposals were agreed upon in the Academic Council meeting at AKTU Lucknow.
Seal these proposals
1. Approval of National Education Policy 2020 by conducting workshop.
2. Board of Studies will be reconstituted and students will be included in it.
3. IQAC will be formed.
4. Yoga and sports will be included in the syllabus of B.Tech II semester.
5. Like B.D.Es in Institute of Design Noida, admission in M.D.Es also at institute level on remaining seats after counseling.
6. Permission to calculate percentage from CGPA of M.Tech students in Center for Advanced Studies
VC Prof. In the meeting of the Vidya Parishad conduct on Saturday under the chairmanship of JP Pandey, the proposal to change the PhD Ordinance was approved. Now, the students who have passed B.Tech & MCA in 1st division will be able to get direct admission in Ph.D. However, there will be some rules or formalities for it. Admission in M.Tech will be through CUET & GATE. After completing the course work, an opportunity will be given to migrate to Ph.D. on getting the prescribed grade.
