Payment of pending post matric scholarship of Jharkhand this month latest news update 2023
Latest Updated 06/06/2023: Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Minorities and Backward Classes Welfare Department has cleared the way for the payment of pending scholarships in the Government of Jharkhand. Session 2022-23 post matric will be paid by the end of this month.
Ranchi District Welfare Department will give scholarship amount to about 40 thousand children in Ranchi district. For this, a total of Rs 70 crore will be paid in the account of the students. On the other hand, the scholarship for the pre-matric scholarship session 2022-23 has been paid in the entire state. 2,872,553 people had registered for the pre-matric scholarship. In this, applications of 2,564,348 people were examined and a total of Rs 4,486,008,500 was paid while approving the applications of 2,173,255 students.

Note: The post matric scholarship amount will be paid by the end of this month. While the amount for pre-matriculation session 2022-23 has been paid.
More allocation this year as compared to last financial year Pre-matriculation and post-matriculation scholarship amount has been allocated more in the entire state this year as compared to last financial year.
In the session 2021-22, 2,481,179 students had registered for pre-matric scholarship. In this, while examining the applications of 2,479,873 students, the applications of 2,456,547 students were approved. Also Rs 2,878,035,750 was paid as scholarship. Whereas in Post Matriculation 2021-22, 562,201 were registered through online medium. In this 473,201 were scrutinized and 436,902 applications were accepted and scholarship amounting to Rs 3,586,200,821 was disbursed.
