Governor will give gold medal to 24 PG toppers of PPU Patna on 27th June latest news update 2023
Latest Updated 13/06/2023: Patliputra University will give gold medals to 24 students at the convocation ceremony for PG session 2020-22 to be held on 27 June. His Excellency the Governor cum Chancellor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar will give the medal. The convocation will be held at Sri Krishna Memorial Hall.
Vice Chancellor Prof. Necessary preparations are being finalized under the chairmanship of RK Singh. To participate in the ceremony, the students who have secured top 1st to 35th position in each subject have been given a chance to register. You can register by visiting http://www.ppup.ac.in. Online registration will be done till June 20. Student Welfare Dean Prof. AK Nag told that online registration is mandatory. For this, the candidates will have to deposit a fee of Rs 1400.
Students who do not get the first option should not worry
Patna So far only 2175 students have taken admission in PPU out of one lakh 20 thousand seats. On the other hand, the nomination of the first merit list is to be done by June 17. Students giving first option have to take enrollment in same college and Hons. Dean Prof. AK Nag told that those who have got honors and college according to the option in the first merit list will not get a second chance. Those students who have not got the first option will automatically slide up in the second list. Students need not worry for this. Whereas the second merit list will be released on June 19.
More than 1400 students enrolled in Patna University
The enrollment process is going on in Patna University's four-year undergraduate course. On the basis of the first merit list, students have till Tuesday to enroll. Those students whose names have come in the list and they could not enroll, then they have the chance to enroll till Tuesday. After enrollment, students can follow the process of slideup. Students will not get the option without slideup for enrollment. University Dean Prof. Anil Kumar told that so far 1400 students have been enrolled. On Monday, 214 enrollments were done in Magadha Women's College, 214 in BN College, 208 in Patna College, 79 in Commerce College and 186 in Science College, including graduate regular and vocational courses.
