Latest Updated 26/05/2023: The Central Goods and Services Tax and State Tax officials have made it completely clear that genuine traders need not worry about GST raids. This is action against suspicious firms flagged by GST on several parameters. Action will be taken against those doing business by fraud.
Present in the meeting of the GST Grievance Redressal Committee on Thursday, Principal Chief Commissioner Central Goods and Services Tax Dr. Umashankar and Commissioner State Tax Ministry S clarified that no campaign of any kind is being run by the department regarding the investigation of GST registration.
