Latest Updated 24/05/2023: Only the permanent residents of Uttarakhand will be appointed on 1564 posts of Nursing Officers in the Health Department. In this regard, Health Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat said that there is already a clear arrangement for this in the Nursing Officer Service Rules. Candidates will be selected on the basis of year wise merit after record verification. For this, clear instructions have been given to the Medical Services Selection Board.
The Health Minister said on Tuesday that some people on social media are making false statements regarding the recruitment of Nursing Officers. All the above things are baseless. The state has clear rules for the recruitment of Nursing Officers. In this, there is a provision to apply only to the candidate holding permanent residence certificate of Uttarakhand. In such a situation, no candidate can be selected by moving away from the rules. He informed that the government has decided to make the recruitment of Nursing Officer year-wise.

Its responsibility has been given to the Uttarakhand Medical Services Selection Board. The board has already invited online application forms on the basis of reservation roster applicable in the state. In this, the prescribed provisions of the rules have been clearly advertised. From May 31, the process of record verification of the candidates from the selection board level will be started from May 31. The deposit certificates of the candidates will be scrutinized closely. Only after this the selected candidates on the basis of year wise merit will get posting in the districts. With the deployment of nursing officers on 1564 posts in government district and sub-district hospitals, patients will get better treatment.
