Prohibition on taking the accused of copying in merit in UKSSSC Forest Guard Recruitment latest news update 2023
Latest Updated 03/05/2023: The High Court's single bench order to include candidates accused of cheating in the Forest Guard Recruitment Examination in the merit list has been stayed till further orders. Along with this, notice has been issued to three others including opposition Preeti and asked to reply.
A bench of Chief Justice Vipin Sanghi and Justice Rakesh Thapliyal imposed the stay following an appeal by the UKSSSC challenging the single bench order. In the single bench, the accused had said that the charge sheet against them has been quashed. So they should be included in the merit list. The single bench had given the verdict in favor of the accused.
UKSSSC has challenged this decision. In the year 2018, more than 100 accused were made in the case of cheating in the Forest Guard Recruitment Examination. Those who got relief from single bench. Said in the commission that, they did not get relief from the court. He had entered into a settlement with the complainant. That's why they can't be given the benefit.
