Left Front burnt PM's effigy in Jharkhand Dhanbad latest news update 2023
Latest Updated 29/05/2023: Accusing the central government of neglecting the President regarding the inauguration of the Parliament House, the Left Front on Sunday burnt an effigy of the Prime Minister. Several Left leaders and activists, headed by Male District Secretary Karthik Prasad, gathered at Randhir Verma Chowk and raised slogans against the central government.
The speakers called the inauguration of the Parliament House by the President an insult to the Constitution. It is said that the Parliament is constituted by the President of India and both the Houses of the Parliament. The President summons, adjourns and ends the session of the House. Based on constitutional spirit, President is living symbol of Indian Parliament. Not inviting them to the inauguration of the new Parliament House is just a travesty of the basic spirit of the Constitution and an insult to the Constitution.
On the occasion, CPIM District Secretary Mandal cum State Committee Member Shiv Balak Paswan, CPI Zilla Parishad Secretary Mohd Firoz Raza Qureshi, ML Nakul Singh, Massas leader Rana Chattaraj, Forward Block State Secretary Mohfiz Sahil, RSP State Secretary Ganesh Dewan etc. were present.
