Honors degree will not be awarded on less than 75% marks in graduation in UK Uttarakhand latest news update 2023
Latest Updated 12/05/2023: If you are doing graduation (UG) from any college, then you have to get more than 75 percent marks in six semesters, only then you will get honors degree. If the marks are less than this, then the general degree of BA, B.Sc and B.Com will be given. And for PG you will have to study for two years. This regulation has been made in the new education policy. Therefore, degree-PG colleges are making students aware of their level.
Graduation has been made four years in the new education policy. And, Honors degree will be awarded in the fourth year. For this, it is mandatory to score more than 75 percent marks in the first three years i.e. six semesters. If the marks are less than this, the honors degree will not be awarded.
Students are not yet fully aware that they will get honors degree only if they get more than 75 percent marks in six semesters. After this, PG will also be done in one year. But, due to lack of information, students are giving less classes as before, because earlier work used to be done in 55-60 percent. There is an appeal to the students to give regular classes now, so that they can get honors degree by scoring good marks.
