Front of UK Uttarakhand Private Colleges against registrar of nursing latest news update 2023
Latest Updated 18/05/2023: The Association of Private Nursing Colleges of the state has opened a front against the registrar of the Nursing Council. The association has sent a memorandum to Health Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat demanding action against the registrar.
In the complaint given to the Health Minister by the Association of Private Paramedical and Nursing Institute, it has been said that many types of rigging are being done by Council's registrar Ramkumar Sharma, from the recognition of the colleges to the inspection. It is alleged that Ramkumar Sharma has been appointed on this despite not having the qualification for the post of registrar. The association has also raised questions on his native residence and demanded an inquiry.

The association alleged that there was a glitch in the matter of merger of the health department with the medical education department, due to which he became a senior in the department despite being a junior. Alleged the registrar that there were irregularities in the transfer of staff and faculty and rules were being violated.
The registrar has also been accused of rigging nursing recruitment in AIIMS and harassment of female nursing students. Association General Secretary Lalit Joshi, Rajeev Singh, Sandeep Chowdhary, MPK Jain and several college operators are among those who handed over the memorandum to the Health Minister.
