Uttarakhand CM Dhami says Dehradun, Harki Paidi and Rishikesh corridor soon latest news update 2023
Latest Updated 29/05/2023: CM Pushkar Singh Dhami attended the meeting of the Council of Chief Ministers chaired by PM Narendra Modi in New Delhi on Sunday. During this, he said that the state government is committed to a strong Uttarakhand. Dhami said- Government is going to redevelop Doon Capital Region, Harki Pauri Rishikesh Corridor soon.
Giving information about the works of the state government in the meeting, Dhami said that tireless efforts are being made in 13 flagship schemes. Regarding strong UK CM Dhami said that a aim has been set to double the GSDP of the state in the next 5 years. The focus is on development of 10 knowledge parks and infrastructure in the state, of which the new Dehradun Capital Region, redevelopment of the Harki Pauri Rishikesh Corridor is a major task.

CM Pushkar Singh Dhami said that due to paucity of financial assests, special attention is being given to GST collection. State Millet Mission has been launched under agriculture. After the meeting was over, the Prime Minister stayed for some time. The BJP Chief Minister's Council meeting is part of the party's agenda of good governance.
According to sources, in the meeting, the chief ministers of the party from various states shared best practices in governance and implementation of various welfare schemes. Each Chief Minister presented information related to the major schemes of his states, their progress, especially the beneficiaries of centrally sponsored schemes, before the central leadership.
