Auto driver killed near Putki Police Station Dhanbad latest news update 2023
Latest Updated 25/05/2023: Srinagar resident auto driver Sonu Rai (25 years) was killed by criminals near Hanuman temple adjacent to Putki police station. Apart from Tangi and Bhujali, Sonu was attacked indiscriminately with sticks and rods. The incident happened on Tuesday late night. An FIR has been lodged against 13 people on the complaint of Sonu's mother Lakshmi Devi.
On Tuesday night at 11:30, the Putki police informed Sonu's family members that he was lying in a bloody state. He is being sent to SNMMCH. When Sonu's mother reached the hospital with her younger son Bittu Rai, she saw Sonu's dead body lying there. Both his eyes were gouged out by the killers. Both arms and legs were broken. 13 injury marks were found on the body. Lakshmi Devi told in the statement that Sonu came out of the house at six in the evening with an auto. When we talked on the phone at 10 o'clock in the night, he said that he is coming in 20-25 minutes. After this, the phone was not picking up when I called at 11 pm. At 11.30 pm, I got a call from Putki police station and was told that someone had brutally killed the son. He has been sent to hospital.
The police have registered an FIR for murder and have started investigation. Whoever is involved in the murder will be arrested immediately. No accused will be spared. Prima facie there is a suspicion of murder in old enmity.

Lakshmi told that Bhanu Rana, son of Rajendra Rana of the neighborhood, Pradeep Rana and Deep Rana, son of Manoj Rana, Munilal Yadav, Sanjay Raut, son of Ram Sharan Raut, Bhima Raut and Ajay Raut, son of Rajesh Mandal, Ravi Mandal, Ramanand Mandal and Rajesh Mandal, sons of Nageshwar Mandal, Ravi Paswan and Raju Paswan, sons of Suresh Paswan of Loyabad Coke Plant above Dhauda, have killed their son. Urmila Devi, wife of Awadhesh Bhagat of the neighborhood, used to inform the accused about the son. Bhanu Rana attacked during Holi. Lakshmi claimed that on the evening of the incident, all the accused were seen roaming around the police station with sharp weapons and sharp weapons in their hands. The post-mortem of Sonu Rai's body was done at SNMMCH on Wednesday. There were 13 stab wounds on the body with sharp weapons.
