Admission will be done on 604 seats in Six KGBV Nirsa Admission 2023 latest news update
Latest Updated 28/05/2023: The admission process for classes VI, VII and VIII has started in six Kasturba Gandhi Residential Girls Schools and three Jharkhand Residential Girls Schools in the district. On 30 May, there will be a meeting of district level selection committee under the chairmanship of DC.
In the meeting, a decision will be taken after discussing the admissions for 604 seats in 8 out of 9 schools (except KGBV Nirsa). 8 schools have received 1195 online applications for 604 seats. Decision will be taken later on 25 seats in Class VI & remaining 50 seats in School of Excellence Kasturba Gandhi Residential Girls School, Nirsa. A large number of online applications have been received for NIRSA.

District Samagra Shiksha has immediately the process after receiving the admission reports from the blocks. After getting the green signal regarding admission from the District Selection Committee, the admission will start. Admission will be taken in classes 6 to 8 for 440 seats in 5 Kasturba Schools (except Nirsa) & 164 seats in 3 Jharkhand residential girls' schools. The admission process is being done as per the instructions of Jharkhand Education Project Council (JEPC).
Basis of Admission Orphan, father not alive, mother not alive, remote area or BPL, Chheejit (dropout) naxal affected area, father or mother disabled, father or mother suffering from the illness.
