Live News Update 2023: 30000 people will get relief from low voltage in Jharkhand
Latest Updated 19/05/2023: More than 30 thousand people of the city are going to get relief from the problem of low voltage and phase flying. The capacity of Hirapur sub-station will be doubled. For this, the Electricity Department has started the initiative. Another 10 MVA transformer is being installed within a week. After this its capacity will be 20 MVA. Presently 10 MVA transformer is installed.
Three feeders have been removed from it. Nearby people including Hirapur, Manoram Nagar, Bekarbandh, JC Mallick, Telipada, Chiragowda, Bhistipada, Police Line will be benefitted. There is a problem of low voltage in every area from 4 pm till late night. People are facing different types of problems regarding this. The situation is such that even when there is electricity, neither the fan nor the light is on. Due to this, the problems of the youths are increasing.
The capacity of the sub station will be doubled. Hirapur substation will be increased from 10 MVA to 20 MVA. There is still a problem of low voltage in the area. Technical fault was also arising due to this. This problem will go away now.
