Inauguration of 80 excellent schools in the state, they will be given autonomy

Latest Updated 03/05/2023: In Jharkhand, the recruitment process of 26 thousand teachers will start by the end of May. At the same time, by the end of this year, 24000 other teachers will also be reinstated. CM Hemant Soren made this announcement on Tuesday.

The occasion was the inauguration ceremony of 80 excellent schools of Jharkhand. The CM inaugurated 80 excellent schools located in all the districts. The enrollment process for the new classes of these schools was also started with a state level function organized at Thakur Vishwanath Shahdev High School, Jagannathpur, a school of excellence in Ranchi. These schools have been recognized by CBSE and now English medium will be taught here. The Chief Minister has directed the Education Department to give autonomy to these schools.

The CM said that there is a shortage of teachers in the schools of Jharkhand. Due to many hindrances, many obstacles, teachers could not be appointed. By the end of this month, the process of reinstatement of about 26000 teachers will began.

The CM said that there is a management committee inside the school to run the schools. All of them are urged to play an important character for good education in excellent schools, so that the schools can be run better. The govt can provide infrastructure, teachers, books, clothes, arrangements, but the management committee should ensure that schools get good education with all these resources. The school which will perform better, its children and teachers will be rewarded.

It is a historic day for the youths of Jharkhand. The first step has been taken to make the school system excellent. This chain will go till the panchayats. Efforts were made by the then Education Minister Late Jagarnath Mahato ji in establishing these excellent schools. The education system should be strong, no poor should stay away from education, this is our priority.

Government's steps will go till Panchayat

The CM said that the govt has taken an ambitious step in the direction of education in the form of a school of excellence. The steps will go till the Panchayat. The most important character in this will be of the education department & teachers. Everything can be achieved through education. In Jharkhand, work should have been done keeping the subject of children's education on priority, which has not happened and is starting late. Reforms in the education system are need of an hour.

Today is the era of competition. In this era of competition, it is very important to give an excellent education to the children studying in state (Jharkhand) schools.

Running a school in two rooms in the state is a joke

The CM said that we talk about providing better education to the poor. They talk about providing good education to tribals, dalits & backward people, but the system of imparting education in the 2 rooms is being followed from the past. That's like a joking. Today, apart from that, the govt has developed excellent schools on the lines of private schools for the good education. There are 35000 schools in the Jharkhand, but 4500 schools are excelling. The Jharkhand Education which remained in the state for years is a matter of concern.

No one's studies will be missed due to lack of money

CM Hemant Soren said that no student of Jharkhand will miss his studies due to shortage of money. The govt is starting Eklavya Training Scheme (ETS), Mukhyamantri Protsahan Shiksha Yojana (MPSY), Guruji Student Credit Card Scheme (GSCCS). The govt will bear all the expenses of the children who want to become engineers, doctors, lawyers, judges after leaving school. The govt will also provide assistance for the preparation & coaching of competitive exams.
