Study of 2 subjects will start in Hindi in NIT Patna latest news update 2023
Latest Updated 24/04/2023: Now, 1 or 2 subjects will be taught in Hindi medium in National Institute of Technology (NIT) Patna. Under the new education policy 2020, studies in Hindi medium began in NIT Patna in 2021. But in the year 2022, candidates withdrew their names from Hindi Medium fearing placement. After this, Dr. Pradeep Kumar Jain which is NIT Director has prepared a new format for studies in Hindi medium.
It has now been decided to teach almost all subjects taught under Social Science in NIT in Hindi. In the last session, the subject of Moral Values & Ethics was taught in Hindi under the subject of Social Science. It was appreciated by the candidates of every state. In view of this, now there is a plan to mandatory study in Hindi medium in one or two subjects in the new session.

Six new courses will be started
Proffesor Jain said that 6 new courses would be started in the next one or two semesters. This includes PhD, PG M.Tech & B.Tech-M.Tech dual degree. Dual degree chemical technology studies of B.Tech & M.Tech are being started from the coming session. Apart from this, thoughts are also being provide to start courses related to Artificial Intelligence, Center of Excellence in Mechatronics, Solar Energy & Biotechnology.
