Recognition of nursing colleges in UK Uttarakhand will be investigated latest news update 2023
Latest Updated 30/04/2023: Controversy has arisen over the recognition of many private nursing colleges in Uttarakhand. After complaints of wrong recognition of many colleges, the Medical Education Minister has instructed to re-inspect all the colleges and conduct an inquiry.
On behalf of the Medical Education Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat, instructions have been given to the Director of Medical Education Dr. Ashutosh Sayana in this matter. There are 55 private nursing colleges in the state. The recognition of these colleges is given after several levels of inspection. But there are complaints that some private colleges have been given recognition despite not meeting the standard. In view of this, instructions have now been given to investigate all the colleges.

According to the instructions given by the Medical Education Minister, all the colleges will be investigated and action will be taken against those colleges which do not meet the standards. Medical Education Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat said that the Director of Medical Education has been asked to check all the nursing colleges.
