Latest Updated 18/04/2023: Following the instructions of the Chancellor-cum-Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar, the exercise regarding the four-year undergraduate course in all the universities of the state has intensified. Vice Chancellor Prof. at Bapu Auditorium of Patliputra University on Monday. A meeting of the syllabus draft committee was held under the chairmanship of RK Singh. In this, the format of the four-year course was discussed. In this, it was decided that 20 to 22 credits would be studied per semester. In this, students will be able to study for additional credits as per their wish.

In the meeting, the Vice-Chancellor asked all the Deans to prepare the syllabus for two semesters without any delay. In this, he made it clear that there will not be more than 20 percent difference in the syllabus from the syllabus of the University Grants Commission. Vice Chancellor Prof. RK Singh said that in the four-year course, students will have the freedom that they can get exit and entry in between by giving studies and exams every two semesters. In this, they will have to complete their studies in a maximum of seven years.
