Postponement of Internal and Seminar Papers by teachers at RMLAU Lucknow latest news update 2023
Latest Updated 11/04/2023: Internal and seminar papers were not held on Monday due to protests by teachers at Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Law University. External examiners also did not come. On the request of the registrar of the university, the teachers agreed to cooperate in the examinations from Tuesday.
This decision was taken after the consent of all the teachers in the meeting held under the chairmanship of Dr. AP Singh. However, if no decision is taken by the university administration on regularization by the evening of 17 April, they will be bound to protest again from 18 April.
Demand for regularization and meeting of the working council, the teachers of Lohia Law University have been protesting since 6 April, demanding regularization and opening of envelopes after holding a meeting of the working council. The university administration swung into action after the teachers announced to boycott the examinations. On Sunday, Registrar Anil Mishra sent an e-mail to the teachers, appealing them to avoid protests and cooperate in the examinations. There was no exam on Monday.
Lohia Law University agreed on cooperation today
In the meeting on Monday, the teachers agreed to cooperate in the examinations to be held from Tuesday. Practical, internal and seminar paper presentation will be finished by 16th April. The teachers said that in the 43rd Executive Council meeting on April 17, they will protest again from the next day for not clearing the situation by the university administration on promotion.
