Para medical and nursing colleges of Bihar will have to take afresh affiliation latest news update 2023
Latest Updated 05/04/2023: All para medical, pharmacy and nursing colleges in the state will have to take fresh affiliation. Colleges will not get recognition on the basis of old affiliation. All colleges will get recognition from Bihar University of Health Sciences. Prior to this, if affiliation has been taken from any other university, it will not be considered.
The registrar of the new university, Vimlesh Kumar Jha, said that as per the orders of the government, fresh affiliation of private colleges is necessary. Without this the examination of the students is not possible. The number of pharmacy, nursing and para medical colleges is around 500. Now traditional university affiliation test will not be taken. In such a situation, the problems of private colleges have increased. There are a good number of such colleges in the state, which are run by traditional universities. However, the registrar said that private colleges would have no problem.

New Bihar Health Sciences University and Aryabhatta Knowledge University are facing problems due to lack of clear instructions from the Health Department. Both the universities are in constant correspondence with the government. AKU registrar Dr. Rajeev Ranjan says that the data has not been given because of no clear response from the government. It is not possible to give the data of medical colleges of the state just like that. A clear order was received from the Government in the Engineering University. The data was made available to them. Registrar Vimlesh Jha told that the order has been received from the government. Correspondence has been done with the Govt. Clear instructions should be issued.
